Traditional & Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy
Helping heal and grow through traditional and modern therapy methods of professional support for:
Erica Nicolaus, LISW-S
27 Years of Experience

Safe, clinical ketamine therapy for anxiety, depression, PTSD, chronic pain, and performance enhancement.

PTSD can significantly disrupt daily life due to a range of symptoms including intrusive thoughts, hypervigilance, nightmares, avoidant behaviors, and changes in physical and emotional responses.

Substance use disorder refers to the misuse of substances such as alcohol, nicotine, illicit drugs, prescription drugs, as well as addiction to gaming, sex, gambling, and other behaviors that cause significant problems or distress.

Depression and anxiety disorders are distinct but frequently co-occurring mental health conditions. While both involve negative emotional states, they manifest differently and can have unique causes and symptoms.

Note: The cost of the ketamine infusion is separate from our

Ketamine infusions vary, as do the methods of infusion (intravenous or Intramuscular injections), and are set by the specific clinic and range in cost from $400 – $750 per infusion.
Please contact for inquiries about the process, cost, billing, or any questions.
I do not accept insurance. However, I’m happy to provide you with a super bill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement, and/or to apply towards your yearly deductible, if applicable.
I’d recommend calling your insurance company to ask about out-of-network payments.
As a self-pay provider, I accept all major credit cards, including HSA and FSA. Payment is due at the time of service.
All visits are conducted virtually through a HIPAA-secure app called Doxy. Once you’ve downloaded the app onto your device, we will use Doxy to conduct video visits.
In-person office visit may be arranged at my West Chester, OH. location.
Ketamine assisted psychotherapy is conducted in person at one of our partner locations.
If you’re unable to attend a session, please make sure you
cancel at least 24 hours prior to the start of the session. While I understand life happens, I may charge up to 100% of the rate for late cancellations or “no shows”.

Yes. I’m licensed to offer therapy to people located in Ohio and Kentucky.
Medication can be effective but it alone cannot solve all issues. Therapy and lifestyle changes are crucial for long term well being. As I tell many patients, “there is no pill for misery”.
Medication has a time and place in our lives, and is not for everyone. Medications such as SSRIs and SNRIs (e.g. Prozac or Wellbutrin) are FDA-approved and when combined with therapy, can ease symptoms like depression, anxiety, PTSD and insomnia and can support long-term healing by calming the nervous system and improving body awareness. They help address neurochemical imbalances and can improve sleep and mood regulation.
I do not prescribe medication, however if we determine medication may be right for you, I can assist you with finding the right psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse practitioner to help with your healing and improve overall outcomes.
Our visits will last 50 minutes and cost $190.
For subsequent visits, you have the choice of 50-minute visits for $190, or 30-minute visits for $100 each. Unless we discuss having a 30-minute visit ahead of time, we will default to 50-minute visit.
There are many factors that determine this and that is not a generic answer for the FAQs page. Everyone is unique and comes with a variety of experiences and individual personality and therefore the length of time therapy will take is contingent on many factors.
I have seen patients recover very quickly, in just a few sessions, others have taken longer. Some make tremendous strides and heal and choose to continue therapy for maintenance and overall continued well being. Some have healed and returned as needed.
While I cannot give you a set timeframe, what I do know is that I strive to get you to your goals and healing as quickly as possible, and not to keep you in therapy forever. I work to empower you with the tools and autonomy you need to lead your best life ever. Like many things in life, the more you put in, the more you will get out.
